Translum Backdrops are made from a sturdy plastic and give a specialized effect of frosted glass. Props on the other side of the Translum Backdrop are seen as shapes. This backdrop is ideal for cutting silhouettes as it is easily cut with scissors. Use it as a light table, prop set up or background! Translum Backdrops are versatile, durable and available in three grades for a variety of diffusion. (Stand not included).

The heavyweight is the original Translum and is available in rolls of 54" x 18'. The heavyweight creates a softer lighting effect and is ideal for product tabletop photography. The medium weight creates lighting that can eliminate most shadows.The lightweight creates a medium soft light effect allowing some contrast. Both the light and medium weight Translum are available in rolls of 60" x 18'.
